Introduction Statement
The United States before 1877 was a country progressing. In the 1800 key events such as the declaration of Independence which founded this country gave the United States Freedom from Great Britain. Also the expansion of land in 1803 the purchase of the Louisiana Purchase, and in 1804 Lewis and Clark expedition to the Pacific Ocean. Also when looking at the reconstruction period as American Industrial and agricultural power grew the U.S economy became one of the most dominated in the world. In contrasts you can see how this could have a impact on future wars to come such as world war 2.

The war was caused by Germany when they attacked Poland on September 1, 1939. Other European countries felt like they had to act which caused a domino effect throughout the world during the war.

March 7th 1936 Germany violates the Treaty of Versailles when militarizing the (Rhineland which is located in western Germany). This forced the Allied to occupy Rhineland for 15 years. Which is similar to what happen in Iraq when it was Rumors of Them having weapons of mass destruction
September 1st 1939 Germany invades Poland with little resistance after Poland and Germany agreed to the German-Polish Non-Aggression Pact.

Key Events during the War
Key events during World War 2 starts when Germany invades Poland, therefore leading Britain in France declaring war on Germany days later in 1939. After Germany overwhelms France and Belgium Winston Churchill becomes Prime Minister of Britain. Then in 1940 there were invasions in Russia and the attacks of Pearl Harbor making the US enter the war. Soon later there were mass murders of Jews and Auschwitz. Leading to the turning point in the war as Surrendering at Stalingrad became Germany’s 1st major defeat.

Stalingrad was the battle between Germany & the Soviet Union. It was in Soviet city of Stalingrad known today as Volgograd.

Curtiss P-40 Warhawk
This Plane was invented in 1939. This was one of the key planes use by the Tuskegee airmen, who use the plane as Bomb escort and protecting heavies against the Germans. This plane is also known as the red tail because of the painting on the tail of the plane. This gave American and the Allies power dominance in the air against axis troops.
